So i am not ready for real life at all, this means trying to find a place to live thats in a city i like, but first i need a job to pay for insurance, my phone, and be able to make student loan payments. Then i need to find a place i can afford. And right now, i feel like i dont have any of the skills that i need to make it in the real world. I feel like i need more school but that i dont have the grades or the money to go to grad school right now. Which people have told me to join the military or get a job and they will pay for my education. Which makes sense but im not sure if that is the right path for me at this time. There are some classes which i could take online thru Boston College that would add to my knowledge quite a bit which i am looking into at the moment. Boston would be a great place to move to and live.
As for being ready for the real world and getting a job, many other people around me seem to be having much better luck with finding a job and moving into the real world, and i just got to the whole thing that most people are in the same boat as me. Scared to death of what is going to happen after college. As well as not prepared for anything, and the people doing well have made connections left and right, which i have been trying to keep up with. As well as worked on a simple design for a portfolio to pass out to people which has seemed to work wonders. So right now my focus is to find a job for the summer, something simple that i can pick up and do, while i work on cleaning up some of my projects, bush up on my skills such as drawing and computer design skills, as well as adding some languages to my skills, mainly German and Spanish. Then start applying for jobs come end of summer while saving as much money as i can for the future. That is my plan at the moment. Its the only thing that i have right now, so i will prob live at home for the summer, aka free food and rent, and then find a wonderful job to make money and keep things going enough to pay for everything that i need to pay. Make as many connections as i can, and focus on keeping good connections. And then after a few years go back to school and get further education paid for by my company. And hopefully go on the world tour in 4 years, since i missed out this semester.
