just a quick study.
"There are a lot of preconceptions about gay sex versus straight sex. Gays are more promiscuous? Straight people longer relationships? Turns out it's not that simple—OkCupid's data doesn't always bear that out...
Gay issues have been in the news a lot lately, from the debate over same-sex marriage in Congress to a sickening rash of gay-bashing here in New York City. We see a lot of emotion out there, instead of information, and we wanted to provide some data-based context on sexuality so that people might make better choices about what they say, think, and do.
We run a massive dating site and therefore have unparralleled insight into sex and relationships. Here's what we've found, in numbers and charts.
. . .
First of all, gay sexuality is not a threat.
Gay people are not sexually interested in straights
The subtext to a lot of homophobic thinking is the idea that gays will try to get straight people into bed at the first opportunity, or that gays are looking to "convert" straights. Freud called this concept schwanzangst; the U.S. Army calls it Don't Ask Don't Tell.
We combed through over 4 million match searches, and found virtually no evidence of it:
Match Search Returns
* only 0.6% of gay men have ever searched for straight matches.
* only 0.1% of lesbians have ever searched for straight matches.
* only 0.13% of straight people's profile visitors are gay.
Furthermore......."
In our dataset, there was not a single gay user, male or female, who primarily searched for straight people.
Gay people aren't promiscuous.
Another common myth about gay people is that they sleep around, but the statistical reality is that gay people as a group aren't any more slutty than straights.
Median Reported Sex Partners
* straight men: 6
* gay men: 6
* straight women: 6
* gay women: 6
Here's how the distribution curves compare:
* 45% of gay people have had 5 or fewer partners (vs. 44% for straights)
* 98% of gay people have had 20 or fewer partners (vs. 99% for straights)

It Gets Better ::VIDEO::
This is prob one of the videos that really hit this out of the park for me. This guy is amazing and on the list of people who i truly respect and think a lot of.
This guy has guts for doing this. And for that, he is amazing. Its good to say these things in setting like this.
It pisses me off that city officials would say such horrible things that caused someone to kill themselves.
I would like to personally thank this man for this video.

FCKH8 - Strong Vocied Opinion ::Video:: NSFW
This video drops the f-bomb a lot. So its NSFW
While they make many valid point, saying fuck every couple words was kinda over rated. For me i didnt mind it at all, but for standing up for right and making people change there mind, its prob not going to do much. Im not saying i didnt like the video, cause i fucking did, (see what i did there) its just prob not right for changing peoples minds on the issues. Still fun none the less tho.

It Gets Better ::WEB::
If you havent hear about Tyler Clementi its a about time that i tell you. He was a student at Rutgers University and was outing by his roommate who was streaming live video of him with another man, once Tyler found out what his roommate had done he was so upset that he took his own life by jumping of a bridge. I can only wonder that this was because he had no one to talk to about this at all. And being outed over streaming video for anyone to see would be really hard to deal with.
It is sad that he is not that only one that is going through tough times with being gay.
I wish he would have heard about it gets better project, but i myself have just heard about it the other day. It was started by Dan Savage who is the creator and voice for the popular Savage Love Podcast. He is a short intro to what it is.
Here is the first video that Dan posted along with some of the other ones that i found that i have liked.
Like i said these are just a few on here, that are some of the general ones. They are ones on here from all walks of life, all from different backgrounds, races, religions, orientations. So please if you need help just watch some of these videos.
Everyone from a Muslim that is gay, to a black kid growing up in the rough part of town, to a transgendered teen, to successful stars. They have all been there and done that. They each have a different story to share, i will be posting one here within the next week as well. Talking about what i am going through and what i have been through.
But remember there is always help when you need it, dont feel like you are alone.

"Another gay teenager in another small town has killed himself—hope you're pleased with yourselves, Tony Perkins and all the other "Christians" out there who oppose anti-bullying programs (and give actual Christians a bad name).
Billy Lucas was just 15 when he hanged himself in a barn on his grandmother's property. He reportedly endured intense bullying at the hands of his classmates—classmates who called him a fag and told him to kill himself. His mother found his body.
Nine out of 10 gay teenagers experience bullying and harassment at school, and gay teens are four times likelier to attempt suicide. Many LGBT kids who do kill themselves live in rural areas, exurbs, and suburban areas, places with no gay organizations or services for queer kids.
"My heart breaks for the pain and torment you went through, Billy Lucas," a reader wrote after I posted about Billy Lucas to my blog. "I wish I could have told you that things get better."
I had the same reaction: I wish I could have talked to this kid for five minutes. I wish I could have told Billy that it gets better. I wish I could have told him that, however bad things were, however isolated and alone he was, it gets better.
But gay adults aren't allowed to talk to these kids. Schools and churches don't bring us in to talk to teenagers who are being bullied. Many of these kids have homophobic parents who believe that they can prevent their gay children from growing up to be gay—or from ever coming out—by depriving them of information, resources, and positive role models.
Why are we waiting for permission to talk to these kids? We have the ability to talk directly to them right now. We don't have to wait for permission to let them know that it gets better. We can reach these kids."
